KARACHI (PPI) - Sindh Commerce and Industries Minister Mohammad Rauf Siddiqui has said that City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal has run the local government system with full dedication and efforts. The LG system can solve the problem of people in best way, he said.He was addressing a dinner organised by the North Karachi Association of Trade and Industries at a local hotel on Saturday evening. He eulogised the Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad for smoothly running his governership, which is the best example. He directed to use Rs250 million, which has been given to Industrial Zone and said that efforts would be made to provide further amount by the Federal Government.He directed all traders and industrialists to beautify the environment by planting trees and placing marbles in front of their factories. He assured his cooperation to them.The minister apprised that permission for establishing 200 mega-watt power plant at Super Highway Phase-2 would be granted, those having interest could contact the ministry. The interested investors can contact to Ministry of Commerce and Industries in this respect, he added.He also criticised KESC for power outages and asked it to improve service otherwise action would be taken against it.
